With a great pleasure we welcome you to the 4th Caribbean Foiling Championships on
St. Martin which will be held from December 8-10, 2023!
Foiling is a new windsurf, kitesurf and wing format and it represents a broader cross-section of what kite-/windsurfing is today. The organisation fully understands that this new foiling discipline is unknown territory for some (local) newspapers and therefore loves to invite all media channels interested on the Caribbean Foiling Championships media boat.
This new and innovative event will offer three days of racing, of which only Friday and Saturday (December 8-9, 2023) spots are available on the media boat.
Media Boat
For those journalists/photographers/videographers/bloggers/vloggers willing to see the race from up-close on Media boat: the boat will depart from Club Wind Adventures (Orient Bay) and will watch the racing in the bay.
Media boat schedule, Friday or Satuday
- 9AM: Skippers briefing If you would like to interview competitors this is the time
- 9:30AM: Step on Media Boat
- 10AM: First Start
- 12PM: Back to shore
Please send an email to Sacha van der Wouden ( sas@caribbeanfoiling.com) including the Accreditation form (see above), if you’d like to join. Be advised that space is limited, places will be hand out on a first come first serve basis.
The boat is an open powerboat, so please protect yourself from the sun by wearing longsleeves, a cap and sufficient suncream.
